Who are We ?
The aim of Pertinent Eco-Solutions is to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable planet by reducing the use of chemical pesticides.
Our Story
We are committed to finding solutions that protect the planet
We must admit that our team of founders spent many professional years developing, producing, and marketing chemical pesticides. These products have been used for crop protection, animal health, and in households. After all these years, we realized that while we were solving one problem (the control of pests), we were creating another (polluting the planet)! But it is because we became experts in traditional chemical pesticides that we are also certainly the best placed to find alternative solutions that would change the established paradigm : a new technological model, safe for the environment and protective of humans and animals, yet at the same time effective and economical.
We are scientists and we rely on the power of nature
By focusing on the discovery of safe and effective alternative solutions to classic pesticides, we found our inspiration in nature. We believe that science and nature are not opposed but, on the contrary, feed each other. Our approach is to capture the natural insecticidal power of certain plants and amplify it through a process of scientific optimization. We thus develop effective and safe eco-solutions to manage harmful insect populations.
We created Pertinent to make a difference and to challenge the preconceived notion that chemical pesticides are the only solutions capable of fighting insects.
